Butterworts are fascinating carnivorous plants known for their striking, sticky leaves that effortlessly trap small insects. These rosettes of vibrant green or sometimes pinkish leaves exude a glistening, sticky substance that attracts and digests prey, providing essential nutrients to the plant.
Butterworts also feature charming, delicate flowers that range from purple to white, blooming on slender stems above the leaves. They thrive in bright, indirect light and prefer consistently moist, well-draining soil. Ideal for terrariums or as a unique houseplant, Butterworts are low-maintenance yet captivating with their insect-catching abilities.
Care Tips:
- Light: Bright, indirect light.
- Water: Keep soil moist but not waterlogged. Use distilled or rainwater.
- Humidity: Prefers high humidity (around 50-70%).
- Soil: Use a well-draining, carnivorous plant mix.
- Feeding: Naturally catches small insects, but occasional feeding can boost growth.

One plant arrived completely detached and I asked for either a new plant or a refund. The communication is not great and the service is also not great. Still waiting for some sort of communication regarding the refund or new plant. I would not recommend buying from this supplier.
the plants arrived beat up. i went out of town and upon my return, my wife infomed me that they were dead and gone
good healthy condition:)))
Tiny plants that appeared ok when received. They were REALLY wet. I let them dry naturally but they are dying - still way too wet. Not sure they are going to make it. :(
Arrived in excellent condition, along with instructions. She isn't doing very well currently, but I'm sure it is something that I did, I do not have a green thumb and I didn't realize she would go south so easily.
